Conversation on Restitution/Compensation

In South Africa, the ownership and distribution of land is one way which colonial dependents have taken advantage of African people with the passing of 15 unjust laws regarding land (1894-1950). In fact, many colonial descendants have benefited from those privileges. On the other hand, the land claimants are unhappy about the backlog in restitution for generations causing many to suffer up-to-date. How can Christians respond to such injustice based on Neh 5:1-12?
Please join us for an open conversation around reconciliation and restitution in response to past acts committed in our country with a special focus on land ownership.
We welcome those whose families have been victims to land injustice and those who have benefited from past privileges with regard to land.
